Deco Botanical Orange Magnolia Jar S - Kintsugi

This one-of-a-kind stoneware lidded jar combines functional craftsmanship with botanical artistry, making it a distinctive piece for both everyday use and display.

Material & Process: Wheel-thrown from stoneware clay and fired to 1245°C / 2273°F for strength and durability. The lid is freehand cut and carefully fitted to the vessel.

Design Details: Features a hand-carved orange magnolia inlaid into a terra sigillata surface and filled with underglaze. A mixture of glazes and terra sigillata creates contrasting colors and textures across the exterior, while the interior is fully glazed for a smooth finish. A crack repaired with kintsugi celebrates resilience and the beauty of imperfection.
