Lava Deco Botanical Jar 3M Maple

This one-of-a-kind stoneware lidded vessel blends craftsmanship, symbolism, and natural materials, making it both a functional container and a sculptural art piece.

Material & Process: Wheel-thrown stoneware, fired up to 1245 °C / 2273 °F for strength and durability. The lid is hand-cut and finished with a locally collected wood branch from a London park, attached with brass wires. A combination of glazes and underglaze provides depth, while the interior is fully coated with a food-safe glaze.

Design Details: Features a hand-applied maple leaf design with intricate vinyl resist, revealing the earthy tones of the clay beneath. The branch handle connects the vessel to nature, while the layered glaze surface adds texture and character.
