Orca and Calf Sculptural Vessel – Lidded Jar

This one-of-a-kind stoneware vessel combines functionality with sculptural artistry, making it a striking piece for both everyday use and display.

• Material & Process: Wheel-thrown from white stoneware clay, fired to 1245 °C / 2273 °F for strength and durability. The lid is freehand cut, and the tail is sculptured and attached with care.

• Design Details: Features orca and baby imagery, created through hand-carved inlay drawing, filled with underglaze, and hand-painted for a distinctive finish. The surface is completed with a soft green glaze that enhances the aquatic theme. The interior is fully glazed.

• Capacity: Holds approximately 184 cubic inches – suitable for use as an urn for up to 184lbs. body weight equivalent.
